History
Ian and Trae first met in 2001 when Ian was 22. He worked as project manager for Doster Construction heading up construction and renovation projects at Spring Hill College. After graduating from Spring Hill College Trae played professional baseball in the Kansas City Royals farm system. While playing baseball, during the off-seasons Trae worked for Ian as a carpenter. When his baseball career was over, Ian was working for a local general contractor and hired Trae as an estimator / project manager. After the BP oil spill in 2010, Trae moved to Washington DC, where he worked three years as construction manager for Parsons Corp. When Trae returned to Mobile, he and Ian worked together again at Case Construction. In 2014, the timing was right for Ian and Trae to leave their jobs and start their own company and became co-owners of IV & Claridge Construction in Mobile.
